Tough day in the hills with things not in and generally poor conditions.

Windslab snow here and there and a killer cornice encountered; all good learning tho.

Climbed nothing but tried three routes w/o success

Hidden Chimney

Bill and I went to Mess of Potage in the Cairngorms on 3.1.11 and climbed Hidden Chimney; good fun but a bit windy.

Did the Zig Zags on Gear Aonach with Mark; great day if wet in rain and saturated snow above 600m. Only saw 2 other people out, but, despite weather, had a nice walk and plenty of snow in the corrie. If it freezes hard, this will be a great base for the winter :)
